This soft cover book is a first edition as only 36,000 were ever published back in 1986 when Ken Krutz had built his original prototype, which is currently on display in a Nevada auto museum. Many have found this book to be inspirational as it includes an alternative energy theme in regards to automobiles. Step by step photos & descriptions are included of how the author built his SolarWind car from scratch back in the early to mid 1980's during the first gasoline crunch. It does not contain any blueprints or such, but it is an excellent IDEA book for any mechanically proficient do-it-yourselfer! It measures approximately 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" and there is a total of 54 pages with 23 black & white photographs of his progress in building this car. See photos below & thank you for looking!!!
