All brass parts are solid, heavy, cast brass—not stamped or plated iron. The knobs have an unusual oblong form and the escutcheons have rounded edges. We cleaned and polished all brass parts to a brilliant shine. All parts are in great shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, or heavy scratches. We made a key to operate the lock and could make more for a charge of $3/key. It’s not everyday you come across such a unique set of high quality build.
